Young European Film Forum (YEFF)

YEFF is an international forum promoting involvement of young people in media. Once every two years, people from all over the Europe meet and make films on the topic of cultural diversity. Each time, the forum takes place in a different European country.

YEFF is also a growing network of organizations working in intercultural education, media literacy and anti-discrimination. The partners remain in permanent contact in order to plan new events. The network currently consist of 12 organizations from 11 European countries. Throughout the year the network partners work with young people at a local and national level. They provide a learning framework encouraging technical training, collective learning and cultural enrichment.

YEFF encourages young people to critically analyze media, particularly video. Also to express their own ideas through making movies, and to present them in front of a broader public. During the Forum young Europeans take part in workshops, they shoot and edit their videos and lead discussion with the presence of professional film makers. The program also includes tours in the city, entertainment and film screenings.

Since 2001 CVB has been closely involved in the project. In 2015 CVB hosts the YEFF forum, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the project.
